16 Creators X 7 Days X 1 Epic Roadtrip
Roadtrip Experience Project is an invite-only travel experiment that brings artists, musicians, designers, filmmakers, storytellers, impact makers, culture shifters and doers from diverse creative backgrounds on a journey to connect, collaborate and create while travelling.
Over the past 6 editions, RTX has created a Tribe of over 200+ incredible individuals, created over 20 projects on the road and enabled 100+ collaborations between the tribe in Odisha, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, North East India & Gujarat.

Painting & Documenting a Dance School preserving an ancient dance form
Gotipuo is a dance form with origins dating back to 5 B.C. A precursor to Odishi Dance which is one of India’s oldest dance forms, Gotipuo originated somewhere around 5 B.C. The RTX Tribe collaborated with a 50-year-old dance school in Konark to paint their gorgeous stage, create a website that brings them an audience & sponsors and document their art, culture & music.
A Reminder to Kids - Education is Fun
As part of the Art Project, 30+ artists collaborated to paint an art mural in collaboration with a low-income community of moms & school-going children. The intent was to remind them that education is fun and going to school is important. The mural was painted on a huge wall by the sea which also happened to be the passage for the kids to go to school.
Working with Local Collaborators
Every RTX Project invites local creators from the country it is visiting. Apart from the eclectic blend, it also creates unique creative connections and brings relevance to the projects travellers create. In the past, RTX has collaborated with over 80+ local creators. Locals are also the best maps.

Roadtrip Experience Project is an opportunity for creators to get on a magical journey with mindblowing creators. An opportunity to create art, films, music & photo projects with a gang of insanely talented doers + local communities. Past editions of the RTX Project have taken place in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Odisha, North East India & Spiti. Each edition of RTX explores a new territory.

RTX is open to attend for all kinds of creators from artists, musicians, researchers, storytellers, content creators, illustrators, dancers, chefs & actors. In the past, the project has had a super diverse and interesting mix of people from design leaders to muralists to jazz musicians and rappers.

On the journey expect a lot of culture, stories, adventures and collaborations. Every RTX, about 5-6 creative + community-inclined projects are created in collaboration, for example - An Art / Mural Project, a Music collab to create a new soundtrack, a documentary/web series and various story-led photo projects.

Apart from the creators who apply, RTX also invites a mix of unique creators to join the RTX Film Crew & Production Team.

RTX Project has a 3-step curation process which includes 2 online forms and one call with the curators. The entire curation process takes about 28 days depending on when you apply. Selections are made on a rolling basis - so apply as soon as you can.

The cost to attend the project is USD 1000. Grants are also given to select creators. The curation for the RTX Project is done by creators from past editions or the Tribe. Grants are provided by partner brands that support the road trip financially. Please note, there is no separate procedure to apply for grants. Just go ahead and apply for the project using the application link.
